
Wednesday 28 December 2022. The first group of Toa Samoa players arrived into Faleolo International Airport on Tuesday night with the second group expected at 3pm today.

There was a strong presence of the Samoa Police at Faleolo Airport to help with crowd control and ensure the safety of all Toa Samoa fans who had turned up to await the Rugby League World Cup finalists.
Jerome Luai is accompanied by his partner Bailey Paris Toleafoa and son Israel “Izzy”.

Also arriving last night was Toa Samoa Captain Junior Paulo with his family, as well as Kelma Tuilagi and Royce Hunt.
The team of management and players with their families, will be staying at Return to Paradise Resort.
Close to 50 rooms have been booked to accommodate the group for a stay of six nights.
Samoa Police have said they are offering security at the resort and for all movements of the Toa Samoa while on island.
Police have announced the main Beach Road of Apia is to be closed off to traffic from 9am to 12pm on Thursday 29th December for the Toa Samoa parade.

A sponsors dinner will be held at Return to Paradise on Thursday night with the Government hosting a dinner on Friday night at Taumeasina Island Resort for the team. The Manu Samoa 7’s South Africa gold medalists have been invited to attend.
