Happy Thursday Saints.
1Corinthians 12:21 “THE EYE CANNOT SAY TO THE HAND “I DON’T NEED YOU.’ AND THE HEAD CANNOT SAY TO THE FEET, ‘I DON’T NEED YOU.'”
The opposite of ‘I don’t need you’ is ‘I NEED YOU.’
I must need other people in my life. You must need other people in your life too.
It takes a lot of humility to say, ‘I NEED YOU.’ I know that as a man, I find it difficult sometimes to admit that I need my wife. I’d rather be like a superhero and try to save the day on my own. Ironically, she knows more than anyone that I can’t do it all alone. And, to top it all off, she’s never seen me asking her for help as a sign of weakness.
Why do we struggle to ask others for help? It’s something that needs to change because we’ve got too many Christians struggling alone.
There should be no such thing as a helpless Christian. Not when we are part of a Body that is designed to serve, help and support one another.
How are you when it comes to asking others for help? Do you act like you DON’T NEED anyone else?
Before the fall of mankind, the Lord said in Genesis 2:18 that “IT IS NOT GOOD FOR THE MAN TO BE ALONE.” And that’s BEFORE sin corrupted everything.
So, even when things are good, we’re still going to need help and support from others.
God didn’t create superheroes and lone rangers. He created us with the need to have meaningful, heartfelt relationships to help us all fulfil His will here on earth.
Find ways to connect with others and be blessed.
Have a wonderful day. God bless and lots’a love,
