Happy Tuesday Saints.
The New Living Translation of Psalm 105:19 says, “UNTIL THE TIME CAME TO FULFIL HIS DREAMS, THE LORD TESTED JOSEPH’S CHARACTER.”
The bigger your dreams are from God, the bigger your character will need to be. BIG dreams require BIG hearts, BIG perseverance, BIG faithfulness, BIG patience, BIG integrity and BIG commitment.
Joseph had dreams from God. But his dreams weren’t about ruling over people, they were about being in a prime position and in the best place to SAVE LIVES.
I don’t think that Joseph and his brothers understood the true meaning of his dreams. But in order for those dreams to be fulfilled as God intended, Joseph’s character had to be tested and forged.
Tests are a great way for us to find out what we are really made of. Our true character is revealed in the middle of our fiery trials.
Dreams are important but they are nothing without godly character. The Lord isn’t just interested in what He can do through you, He is also committed to who you are becoming.
Don’t just focus on what you have to do to make your dreams come true, pay attention to who you need to become in order for God’s will to be fulfilled in your life.
Have a great day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
