The National University of Samoa have received $10,000 tala, donated by the New Zealand based Vaipouli College Ex-Pupils Association (VEXPA).
The donation was presented to the Honourable Prime Minister, Afioga Fiame Naomi Mataafa during the PM’s recent official visit to New Zealand.
President of VEXPA, Ma’anaima Leota Rolani and Vaipouli College alumni residing in New Zealand presented the monetary gift to the Prime Minister.
VEXPA’s assistance was formally presented by the Prime Minister to the National University of Samoa’s Vice Chancellor Aiono Professor Alec Ekeroma.
The funds will go towards university fees for Vaipouli College students who are studying at the NUS Campus in Savaii.
