Police have issued a wanted notice for notorious prisoners Lauititi Tualima and Aniseko Vaelei.
The pair had been on the loose and wanted by police earlier this year after escaping from Tanumalala Prison on 23 Jan 7pm and remained at large in the community for months.
Lauititi Tualima was captured in March after two months of searching that included a $5000 tala award for information. He was found in a rental property near the Aele Primary School on Monday evening.

The Samoa Police, Prisons, and Corrections Services (SPPCS) is seeking urgent public assistance in locating the following individuals who escaped from Tanumalala Prison on Thursday night, 29 May 2025.
🟥 1. Lauititi Tualima
Age: 33 years
Address: Satapuala / Luatuanuu
Offences:
Burglary, Theft, Rape, Escape, Aggravated Robbery, Possession of Narcotics, Grievous Bodily Harm, Assault
🟥 2. Aniseko Vaelei (also known as Aniseko Pritchard)
Age: 28 years
Address: Vaiusu / Aele
Offences:
Burglary, Theft, Escape, Threat to Kill, Insulting Words, Grievous Bodily Harm, Possession of Narcotics, Robbery, Aggravated Burglary
💰 A reward of $5,000 is being offered for information leading directly to the arrest of both escapees.
📞 If you see these individuals or have any information regarding their whereabouts, please contact Police immediately at 22222 or report to your nearest Police station.
❗ Do NOT attempt to approach them. They are considered dangerous.
⚖️ Harbouring or assisting an escaped prisoner is a criminal offence.
An internal investigation has been conducted into how the prisoners escaped from Tanumalala Prison. Findings will be reviewed and appropriate actions taken to strengthen prison security.
