I pray that out of His glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.
Ephesians 3:14–21 is a prayer from Paul to the Christians of Ephesus. It is an appeal for spiritual strength from God. In particular, Paul asks God to help the Ephesians exhibit a faith which goes beyond just knowledge (doctrine) into action (application).
Paul prays for the spiritual strength of the Ephesian church, in the hope that knowledge about Christ would translate into living for Christ.
“Lord help me to not only KNOW your word, but through your glorious riches, strength me with power to apply your word in my life today.”
