Enjoy the Sunny Days and the Rainy Days Will Be Easy To Bear

Happy Monday Saints.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING AND A SEASON FOR EVERY ACTIVITY UNDER THE HEAVENS.”

Within the list of things that are mentioned in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, the Bible tells us that there is “A TIME TO LAUGH… AND A TIME TO DANCE.”

We all need to learn to laugh, dance, and have fun. We need to learn how to celebrate the good times and enjoy the sunny days.

When we don’t enjoy the sunny days, the rainy days will be difficult to bear. If we don’t dance when it’s time to dance, how miserable will things be when the music stops playing? If we don’t laugh when it’s time to laugh, how heavy will the sadness be when it’s time to mourn?

Some people don’t know how to relax and enjoy themselves. Everything is troublesome and heavy. They’ve gotten so used to carrying their burdens that they’ve forgotten what it’s like to be joyFULL. An emotion that God has blessed us with and that’s meant to be experienced at the right time.

There is a time when we have to be “sober-minded” and serious about what we are doing. But God didn’t create us with the ability to sustain that kind of intensity ALL THE TIME – with NO rest – NO laughter – and NO dancing.

As we approach the festive season and celebrate the first coming and birth of our Lord and Saviour, try to have a MERRY Christmas. Don’t be a killjoy.

I know Jesus wasn’t born on December 25th, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the fact that He came to “SEEK AND SAVE THE LOST.”

It’s time to laugh and dance with your loved ones. You might miss a few people who are no longer with us but take a look around you, we are all surrounded by people who are worth living for. People who need to see you smile, hear your laughter, and chuckle at your clumsy dance moves.

Try to have some fun this week. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
