An earthquake was felt in Samoa at approximately 8:51pm that shook for at least 20 seconds.
The Samoa Met Office has confirmed the earthquake was of magnitude 5.70 at a depth of 10km and a distance of 194.85 kilometres South West of Apia.

No tsunami warning was issued by the Samoa Met Services.
