Ephesians 1:6-7 “TO THE PRAISE OF THE GLORY OF HIS GRACE, BY WHICH HE MADE US ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED. IN HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE.”
In Christ – you’ve been ACCEPTED by the Lord. You’ve been redeemed THROUGH HIS BLOOD, and your sins have been forgiven.
Because many of us are our own harshest critics, we sometimes struggle with personal rejection. And even though we have been ACCEPTED by the Lord, we let our own insecurities make us feel worthless to Him, to ourselves, and to others.
Even though we may feel this way, as Christians, nothing could be further from the truth. If you believe that Jesus is Lord and that He died on the cross for your sins – you’ve been ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED.
Because your acceptance is established on Christ’s merits alone – you cannot be any more accepted than you are right now.
Don’t let the lies of the enemy or your own self-sabotaging thoughts stop you from pursuing the will of God for your life. Don’t let any negative emotions make you feel unaccepted or unworthy to be used by God.
Your acceptance isn’t based on your own accomplishments. It’s based on the wonderful, gracious, merciful, and completed achievements of Christ.
Let His merits set you free from any form of rejection, and be confident in who you are and what you have IN THE BELOVED.
