Do our thoughts, words and actions reflect our love for Christ?

"True love isn't just a feeling or an emotion; it is demonstrated through our actions."

Happy Thursday Saints.

Jesus presents us with a simple yet profound truth about the relationship between love and obedience. He tells us that if we truly love Him, we will keep His commands.

This statement challenges us to examine the depth and sincerity of our love for Christ. Do we merely profess our love with words, or do our actions reflect that love through obedience to His Word?

True love isn’t just a feeling or an emotion; it is demonstrated through our actions. Jesus Himself demonstrated the ultimate act of love through His obedience to the Father’s will, even to the point of laying down His life for us on the cross. In the same way, our love for Him should be reflected in our obedience to His commands.

Obedience isn’t always easy. It requires humility, self-discipline, and a willingness to surrender our own desires and preferences to align with God’s will. However, when we choose to obey Him out of love, we experience the blessings and peace that come from walking in His ways.

As we meditate on John 14:15, let’s examine our hearts and ask ourselves: Do we truly love Jesus? Are we willing to obey His commands, even when it’s difficult or inconvenient?

Let’s remember that our obedience is not a burden but a response of love to the One who first loved us.

Have a great day Saints. God bless, and lots’a love,
