Do Not Fear for I am with You, Do Not be Dismayed for I am Your God

Happy Tuesday Saints.

Isaiah 41:10 “DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU; DO NOT BE DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU AND HELP YOU; I WILL UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND.”

Fear is the result of the story that we tell ourselves. It’s caused by our thoughts, and our thoughts are words.

Words are powerful. They can build confidence or create fear, produce faith or instil doubt, and give us hope or distress. But it all comes down to what we tell ourselves.

Fear is helpful when it keeps us safe from imminent danger. It can prepare us to be ready to defend ourselves or escape a life-threatening situation.

But when our fears are unwarranted and manufactured by our own wrong assumptions, exaggerated uncertainties, and prejudices – they cause us and others much trouble. They can paralyse us and keep us from reaching our full potential.

If you ever feel overwhelmed by the negative thoughts that feed and reinforce your fears, it’s always a good idea to find a quiet spot where you can be alone with God. A place where you can “BE STILL” and know that He is God.

He promises that He is with you. That He will strengthen you, help you and uphold you. And with God on your side, you don’t have to fear or be dismayed.

BE STILL in His presence until your heart is reassured and comforted by WHO HE IS.

Let His promises and His Higher thoughts become your thoughts. Let His written WORD replace the negative stories that occasionally paralyse you, and let His truth SET YOU FREE.

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD, and make this an extraordinary day. God bless and lots’a love,

Warren
