In the spirit of Christmas, Digicel Samoa’s Management and Chief Executive officer (CEO) Deepak Khanna had visited and distributed early Christmas gifts at the paediatric ward of Moto’otua Hospital.
Children and parents expressed joy and thankfulness for the gifts received from Digicel Samoa, who brought Santa Clause along with them to present the gifts. Children were seen excitedly taking photos with Santa, and the the visit brought smiles to the faces of children admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Digicel Samoa’s CEO Deepak Khanna briefly explain the spirit of the initiative done each year for the children, especially as they would be spending Christmas in the hospital.
“It is in the spirit of Christmas that Digicel visits the paediatric ward, and I am humbled to distribute love for the children.. I wish all the children in the hospital a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us here at Digicel”.
“They are unfortunate to be in the hospital at this time but I am also sure the Lord almighty is looking after them,” said Mr Khanna.
“Once again I wish all the children and their families a blessed Christmas and safe New Year.”
The Children received various gifts, toys, books, stationery, and treats from Digicel Santa.
The parents expressed their appreciation to Digicel Samoa and its Management.
