Every year without fail Digicel Samoa blesses the Paediatric Ward at Moto’otua National Hospital by bringing gifts for the children and babies who cannot be home for Christmas.
This year was no exception as Digicel once again brought Christmas cheer to the Children’s ward at the hospital.
Santa walked through the ward to meet the children, and distribute gifts for those who have to stay in during the festive season to receive treatment.
Chairman of Digicel Samoa, afioga Pepe Christian Fruean visited the Children’s Ward with some of the Digicel management team to deliver this year’s gifts.
The children received various gifts, toys, books, stationery, and treats from Digicel’s Santa.
Parents were grateful for the wrapped parcels and opportunity to meet Santa. They conveyed their sincere thanks to Digicel Samoa for the gifts.
“It’s not just the toys and the wrapped presents,” one father said, “but the gift of love and showing you care, and for bringing a smile to our children during these difficult times.”
“It is in the spirit of Christmas that Digicel visits the paediatric ward, and we are humbled to distribute love for the children who aren’t able to be home for Christmas,” said Pepe.
“Digicel wishes all the children being treated at the hospital a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..
