
Tuesday, 24th March 2020 I Apia I Samoa – Digicel, Samoa’s own and largest telecommunications and entertainment provider announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Mark Witthuhn today.
Mark is no stranger in Samoa as he has held the Head of Consumer Sales position for the past two years.
As Digicel forges ahead on its journey to become a digital lifestyle partner for its customers in Samoa, Witthuhn will lead his team in delivering the best customer service as well as mobile and data experiences.
He boasts 20 years’ experience in mobile telecommunications industry having previously worked at Vodacom (South Africa), MTN (Swaziland) and as General Manager at Digicel Papua New Guinea.
Mark takes over from outgoing CEO Farid Mohammed and says he is excited about the opportunity to lead the team in Samoa.
