Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker’s recent clash in the boxing ring did not create any animosity between them.

In their match earlier this month, Parker surprised everyone with a brilliant performance, securing a unanimous decision victory over Wilder, who was the favored contender.

In an interview with 78SPORTSTV, Wilder revealed that he and Parker are now on friendly terms. Wilder shared a lighthearted moment, stating, “Parker said he ain’t never had a six-pack until he knew he was going to fight me.” He went on to explain that Parker had texted him, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to fight and acknowledging it was a great match. Wilder responded by congratulating Parker and wishing him enjoyment with his family.

Wilder emphasized that there was no previous animosity between them, highlighting their pre-existing relationship. He spoke highly of Parker, describing him as a nice and kind individual. Wilder expressed that if he were to lose to anyone, he’d choose Parker because of his character.
