Product Recall: Expired Crest Eggs from Fiji Unfit for Consumption – Samoa Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health has put out an urgent product recall on a Crest Table Eggs imported from Fiji.
A product recall notice dated 25 August 2022 is signed by Acting Director General of Health, Dr Glen Atoa Fatupaito.
“..the recalled food product is expired and found to be unfit for consumption,” states the notice.
The Ministry has called on businesses to cooperate and remove the product from shelves.
The Ministry also reminds all restaurants who may have purchased this brand of eegs to stop from using them in food preparation.
Crest Eggs are advertised as the Freshest Eggs in Fiji.
