20 January 2019, Apia Samoa. Notorious criminal Pati Sonny Chong Nee has once again escaped from Samoa’s Tafaigata prison.
Police Comissioner Sua Egon Keil confirmed to Samoa Global News that Chong Nee is one of the two prisoners who escaped this morning.
“Yes we can confirm 2 escapees from this morning and one of them is Chong Nee”.
The public was alerted earlier today by owner of the Orator Hotel and lawyer Leiataualesa Jerry Brunt who posted a warning to his neighbors in the Ululoloa area to “lock your doors even if you are inside.”
Chong Nee, now 25 is serving time for a series of criminal activities. In June last year, he had also escaped from Tafaigata prison, attacking home owners as he broke into a number of homes in Ululoloa.
