In Christ, you are an heir of God.
Romans 8:16-17 tells us that “THE SPIRIT HIMSELF BEARS WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD, AND IF CHILDREN, THEN HEIRS – HEIRS OF GOD AND JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST…”
The Amplified Bible says that we are “FELLOW HEIRS WITH CHRIST, SHARING HIS SPIRITUAL BLESSING AND INHERITANCE.”
In line with this, Galatians 4:7 says “YOU ARE NO LONGER A SLAVE BUT A SON… and AN HEIR OF GOD.”
The Greek word for ‘heir’ is kleronomos; it means ‘one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship.’
As an heir of God, the promises in the Bible are now RIGHTFULLY and LEGALLY YOURS!
Jesus fulfilled all the necessary legal requirements to make you a child and an heir of God. You are truly blessed.
