Happy Wednesday Saints.
Proverbs 10:19 “WHEN WORDS ARE MANY, SIN IS UNAVOIDABLE, BUT HE WHO RESTRAINS HIS LIPS IS WISE.”
Talking too much often leads to exaggerated, slanderous, unloving and deceitful conversations. In fact, today’s verse tells us that SIN IS UNAVOIDABLE when we talk too much.
James 1:19 says that, “EVERYONE SHOULD BE QUICK TO LISTEN AND SLOW TO SPEAK.”
We all have to learn to RESTRAIN our lips. Psalm 34:13 says to, “KEEP YOUR TONGUE FROM EVIL AND YOUR LIPS FROM TELLING LIES.”
Those who are truly wise check their hearts first and carefully consider what they are about to say.
We face situations every day that demand a response from us. But don’t let the pressure force you into saying something that you’ll later regret.
Choose your words carefully today. And remember that DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE.
God bless, and have a wonderful day. Lots’a love,
Warren
