Café 10 Reduces Plastic Usage – Installs UV Filtered Water

08 March 2019, Apia Samoa. Café 10 at Lotopa has installed UV filtered water for its clients in efforts to reduce the use of plastic water bottles.

“We are happy to announce that we’ve newly installed UV filtered water here at the cafe!”, said business entrepreneur Visceta Meredith who co-owns Cafe 10 with her husband and former Manu Samoa forward, Jonathan Meredith.

“With the aim of reducing plastic usage on island, we will no longer be serving plastic bottles as we will now only serve everyone in glasses;

“However, we are happy to refill whatever bottles you bring,” added Mrs Meredith.

The cost for UV filtered water is $2 for a glass or  regular bottle sized re-fills and $5 tala for larger quantities.

The team at Cafe 10 says this a way for them to contribute to the community.
