Cabinet has approved the appointment of Fui Tupai Mau Simanu as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Works, Transport, and Infrastructure (MWTI).

According to a press statement,  Fui holds a Master in Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

“Fui has served Samoa for 28 years and started as a senior lecturer at the former Samoa Polytechnic,” reads the statement.

Fui comes to the role from the Electric Power Corporation where he was an ACEO and Chief Engineer for the past 10 years.
