
23 August 2019, Apia Samoa. BSP continues its support to the TV3 National Spelling Bee Competition as part of the bank’s strong focus on youth development.
A market leader in the South Pacific’s banking and finance sector, BSP Samoa comes on board this year as a “Synonym” sponsor of the nation-wide competition.
Head of Finance for BSP Samoa, Jennifer Ula-Fruean presented a cheque of ST$12,500 to TV3 Sales Rep Epifania Ah Kuoi and members of the organising committee.
“BSP will support this Spelling Bee with a sponsorship of ST$12,500 that includes merchandise;
“We believe that this program will encourage the important role that afterschool programs play in keeping our young generation safe, engaged and prepared to be successful individuals,” said Ula-Fruean.
“We are a committed partner in the community, cultural and educational activities,” added the Head of Finance who is also the President for the Samoa Chamber of Commerce.

The TV3 National Spelling Bee Competition will bring together young people from various schools in Upolu and Savaii.
Students will represent their schools but compete as individuals this year unlike previous years when they were in teams.
The Spelling Bee Competition kicks off on Saturday 24th August 2019, which will be live on TV3 over the next four (4) weeks, every Saturday.
