An earthquake was felt in Samoa at 7:39am on Monday 26 December 2022.
“There is No Tsunami threat for Samoa from this Earthquake” confirms the Samoa Meteorological Services.
Samoa Met has confirmed it to be of Magnitude 5.3 on the Richter Scale.
At a distance of 337 km South South-West of Apia, the earthquake was 10km in depth, Samoa Met confirms.
