Happy Friday Saints.
Psalm 103:1-5 “BLESS THE LORD, O MY SOUL; AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME, BLESS HIS HOLY NAME! BLESS THE LORD, O MY SOUL, AND FORGET NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS: WHO FORGIVES ALL YOUR INIQUITIES, WHO HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES, WHO REDEEMS YOUR LIFE FROM DESTRUCTION, WHO CROWNS YOU WITH LOVINGKINDNESS AND TENDER MERCIES, WHO SATISFIES YOUR MOUTH WITH GOOD THINGS, SO THAT YOUR YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE AN EAGLE’S.”
It’s easy when we are faced with difficult circumstances to forget that as sons and daughters of God – WE ARE TRULY BLESSED.
In Psalm 103, David tells himself to BLESS THE LORD. He tells himself what to dwell on, to make sure that he does NOT FORGET all of God’s benefits.
What have you been telling yourself lately? What have you been mindful of? Are you actively trying to REMEMBER how blessed you are? Have you been recalling the Lord’s goodness over the course of the year?
Remembering ALL of God’s benefits and then praising Him for them is a great way to start your day with HOPE.
Reread the above passage. It’s full of promises that should fill your heart with enough peace and joy to bring you through any challenging times VICTORIOUS!
Count your blessings and remember how blessed you really are.
Have a great weekend. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
