Be Joyful in Hope, Patient in Affliction, Present in Paryer

Happy Wednesday Saints.

The final trait in our list from Colossians 3:12 is “PATIENCE.”

Patience is the ability to remain faithful and steadfast in the middle of trials. It’s about trusting the Lord and not letting your circumstances rattle your faith in Him.

Romans 12:12 says to “BE JOYFUL IN HOPE, PATIENT IN AFFLICTION, PERSISTENT IN PRAYER.”

Most people think they are patient, but we only know if they truly are during affliction and discomfort.

Thank God for the times when everything seems to be going well, when breakthroughs come swiftly, and problems are solved instantly.

But we can also find ourselves in circumstances that aren’t worked out quickly. Some difficulties can take weeks, months or even years to figure out and crack. And then, there are certain situations that will never be solved, overcome, or understood at all in this lifetime – and that’s when we will need PATIENCE.

Being patient isn’t just about waiting patiently for our circumstances to change. It’s also about being unmoved and trusting God’s sovereignty no matter what we may face in life.

To have the kind of patience that endures under trials requires FAITH. Faith helps us remain hopeful, and it’s our hope that enables us to stay patient.

So stay close to God. Feed your faith with His Promises and know that He is a “VERY PRESENT HELP” in your time of need.

Have a great day Saints. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
