Faith in God requires corresponding ACTION if it’s going to produce results.
Referring to Abraham, James 1:22 says that “HIS FAITH AND HIS ACTIONS WERE WORKING TOGETHER.”
To experience long-lasting change, you have to make sure that your thoughts, your talk, and your actions all line up with the written Word of God.
Are your actions WORKING TOGETHER with your faith?
James 1:22 says “BE DOERS OF THE WORD AND NOT HEARERS ONLY. OTHERWISE, YOU ARE DECEIVING YOURSELVES.”
We deceive ourselves when we think that we can read the Bible, do the opposite of what it says and still experience Bible results.
No, if we are going to see Bible results, we have to do things the Bible way – God’s way. And as we’ve seen throughout this week – His way is the only way that we can experience true freedom and the abundant life that Jesus promised.
You do not have to be bound and restricted by anything. Your weaknesses don’t have to remain with you for the rest of your life.
Don’t let anyone or anything else place any limitations on you. If you’re going to let anyone or anything define you, let it be the Word of God.
Let God’s living Word, rewrite the debilitating script that you’ve had on repeat inside your head. Let His Promises fill your mind with confidence, your mouth with life, and your future with hope. With God – ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
