Happy Thursday Saints.
Yesterday, we looked at the importance of surrounding yourself with people who bear the same fruit that you’d like to see in your own life.
1Corinthians 15:33 says “DO NOT BE DECEIVED, ‘BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER.'”
Who you spend the most time with, will determine the kind of year you are going to have.
Today’s verse of Scripture tells us not to be “DECEIVED.” You can not spend time with BAD COMPANY and think that it won’t affect you at all.
You place your character, your morals and your faith, in the hands of the company you keep. If you spend time with people who don’t care about God and who aren’t concerned about His calling upon their lives, then you will soon be the same.
On the other hand, if you surround yourself with people who are passionate about God, His calling and His will – they will impact your life in a positive way and draw you closer to God.
This principle applies in any area of your life that you’d like to see improve. The right people will help you get there.
So find friends and colleagues who bear the fruit that you’d like to see in your own life. Walk with the wise, the ones who love the Lord, the strong, the fit, the healthy, the passionate, the humble, the compassionate, the merciful, the purposeful, and the ones who are growing and thriving and have a positive impact on one another.
Have an awesome day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
