Proverbs 27:9 “THE SWEET SMELL OF INCENSE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD, BUT TRUE FRIENDSHIP IS BETTER STILL.”

God created us with the ability to really connect and relate with one another. We all have a deep desire to love others and to be loved in return.

There are over 7.7 billion people in the world and yet loneliness has been identified as the next epidemic.

Why, with more people on the planet than ever before, is loneliness on the increase? Because even though we are surrounded by people, our connections with them aren’t as deep and meaningful as we’d like. We all need authentic relationships – TRUE FRIENDSHIPS.

Proverbs 18:24 “ONE WHO HAS UNRELIABLE FRIENDS SOON COMES TO RUIN, BUT THERE IS A FRIEND WHO STICKS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER.”

Having friends with whom you are able to share all your concerns and vulnerabilities is important.

We may have thousands of acquaintances but true friendships are rare. They’re rare because they require so much time and effort in order to establish the TRUST that is required for authenticity to occur.

These kinds of friendships are rare because they require a lot of time and effort. They need a commitment from two people who are willing to be transparent with one another without the fear of being judged by the other.

Take the time to build strong, authentic and genuine friendships. Find someone that you can trust and be your true self with. Together, you can help each other grow and thrive in life.

Transparency requires honesty and humility. If you can’t be yourself and you have to pretend to be someone you’re not in order to be friends, then what you have isn’t genuine.

Don’t let the fear of rejection prevent you from being yourself or stop you from building a genuine friendship. It is one of life’s greatest joys.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren.
