The Australian government have resumed planning to complete Samoa’s new Legislative Assembly Office building.
The building of the LA offices is the second phase of the Samoa Parliament Complex Redevelopment Project under which Samoa’s Parliament House was built.
The Australian High Commission team, with the Clerk and Parliament team, today participated in a virtual meeting to further discuss the design concepts for the new building.

“We are pleased to be able to continue works in this unprecedented time, and stand strong by Samoa in supporting their public sector and democratic institutions”, read a statement from the High Commission office in Apia.
