It was a happy day for 20 families who each received cash prizes from Ah Liki Wholesale’s Anchor Back to School Promotion, given out on Friday morning during a special presentation at Vaitele.
The names of the 20 winners are listed below – ten lucky winners walked away with $500 tala each, while another 10 received $1,000 tala each.
Ah Liki Wholesale Marketing Team Leader Talise Samuelu Hill told Samoa Global News that this promotion kicked off in November last year, and customers have had two months to enter, by simply purchasing a packet of Anchor milk.
“They just needed to take the bar code from each carton, add their contact details and place them into entry boxes that were made available at all Farmer Joe Supermarkets, in Upolu as well as Savaii”.
Mrs Talise Hill says the cash prize giveaways for this promotion has been timed to help families with the cost of getting kids ready for the 2021 academic year, hence its name.
“This is our way of assisting parents as they prepare to take their children back to school, and also to thank the community as a whole for their support,” she said
“We want to thank our customers for always supporting Ah Liki Wholesale and Farmer Joe”, said the Group’s Marketing Team Leader
Mrs Hill says the Anchor Back to School promotion will be an annual initiative, and Ah Liki Wholesale has been blessed to be able to help parents at this time.
“We are all facing difficulties at this time, especially with the global pandemic affecting economies around the world; this is just another way for us to give back to Samoa, especially since many income earners in families have been left without jobs,” she says.
“We thank everyone who participated and joined in on the excitement of this promotion; and we once again, congratulate all our lucky winners.”
