Latest wave observation as of this morning shows waves and swells below 2metres. However, long periods Northerly swells of more than 2.5 metres remains predicted to reach our marine waters for today into tonight towards the end of the week. This extends the issuance of the MARINE ADVISORY for all coastal to open waters of Samoa. Additionally, poor visibility and gusty winds is also anticipated as the result of the association of an active trough and convergence zone over the country.
Potential Impacts For Samoa:
Poor visibility with gusty winds at times. Strong currents as well as rough seas.
