Happy Wednesday Saints.

Proverbs 28:14 “BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO ALWAYS TREMBLES BEFORE GOD, BUT WHOEVER HARDENS THEIR HEART FALLS INTO TROUBLE.”

In the book of Proverbs, we are reminded of the importance of living a life that is centred on the fear of the Lord.

Proverbs 28:14 highlights the contrast between those who approach God with reverence and those who choose to harden their hearts. It speaks to the profound impact that our attitude towards God can have on the course of our lives.

When we approach God with a heart that trembles in reverence before Him, we acknowledge His sovereignty, wisdom, and goodness. We recognise our need for His guidance, wisdom, and provision in every aspect of our lives. This posture of humility and reverence opens the door for God to work in and through us, leading us on a path of blessing and fulfilment.

On the other hand, when we harden our hearts towards God, we close ourselves off to His leading and direction. We rely on our own understanding and strength, which often leads us down paths of trouble and hardship. By choosing to ignore or neglect the fear of the Lord, we miss out on the thriving life that comes from walking in obedience to His ways.

As followers of Christ, it’s essential for us to cultivate a heart that trembles before God, a heart that’s sensitive to His leading and quick to obey His commands. This posture of reverence positions us to receive His blessings, protection, and guidance. When we choose to honour God with our lives and submit to His will, we can trust that He will direct our steps and lead us into paths of righteousness.

Take some time to reflect on your attitude towards God. Are you approaching Him with a heart that trembles in reverence, or have you allowed your heart to become hardened? Commit to cultivating a spirit of humility and obedience, trusting in the Lord’s guidance, and surrendering your life to His will. May you be counted among the blessed ones who walk in the fear of the Lord, experiencing His blessings and guidance in all things.

Have a wonderful day. God bless and lots’a love,

Warren
