The winner may possibly venture on to represent the Samoan community in Hawaii at the Miss Samoa 2025 pageant to be held later this year.
Miavanna Maiava, Hope Kaumatule and Malelega Lauano are all stunningly beautiful and all three have proven to be quality contestants for Miss Samoa.
The Miss Samoa Hawaii is much more than a beauty pageant. The contestants are exposed to Samoan culture and capacity building through Workshops of Heritage and Pathways of Purpose.
There is also a Celebration of Voice and Heritage where contestants stood before their families and community, introducing who they are and where they come from with an opportunity to speak about their beliefs and aspirations.
“One of the core goals of this platform is to amplify the voices of women—to nurture their ability to speak in public, to stand firm in their beliefs, and to rise as leaders who make a difference in their communities..”
“Miss Sāmoa Hawai’i is a platform that provides a pathway for our tama’ita’i toward leadership, reminding us that when women speak, they do so with the strength of their ancestors and the hope of generations to come.”
Growing in Confidence
“Throughout this pageant season, our mentors have guided the Miss Samoa Hawai‘i contestants through workshops that prepare them not only for the pageant stage, but for a deeper understanding of their culture, their identity, and their own voices.”
“From siva Sāmoa to language and cultural knowledge, public engagement, stage etiquette , and interview training — each workshop provides insight and wisdom, a space of learning, and a circle of sisterhood.”
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our mentors who have poured their time, knowledge, and spirit into this mission: to help reconnect our women to their heritage while opening pathways to showcase their identity and pursue their dreams.
The Miss Samoa Hawai‘i Pageant night will be held on Friday 18 October 2025 at the Mauka Warriors Luau.
