“Equally significant is the support your Government has provided through funding repairs to the ceiling of Supreme Court 1 – commonly known as the Chief Justice’s Courtroom.”

Courtroom 1 had been leaking and the repairs offered by China have been timely.

“This courtroom stands as a cornerstone of our judicial system and with your assistance, it will once again provide a dignified and functional space in which justice can be administered.”

“These contributions, though practical in nature, speak volumes about the commitment of the People’s Republic of China to support the rule of law, good governance, and the strengthening of institutions in Samoa,” said the Minister..

“They are reminders of the enduring partnership between our two nations—built on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared development goals.”

The Minister said China’s support helps to meet critical needs, in support of Samoa’s Judiciary and the Ministry of Justice.

“May the bond between our countries continue to grow from strength to strength, as we move forward together with a shared vision of prosperity, peace, and mutual understanding.”
