
There were one hundred participants who each received $50 tala gift vouchers from the Back to School joint promotion of Samoa Stationary and Books (SSAB) in partnership with Digicel Samoa and Farmer Joe stores.

It is the seventh year for SSABs annual promotion that slashes prices for all student needs such as uniforms, stationery, text books and electronics.
There were 40 vouchers provided by SSAB while Digicel and Farmer Joe provided 30 vouchers each.
All winners were drawn from entry boxes where names of all those who’d spent $30 tala or more.
At a handing over ceremony earlier this week, SSAB Marketing Manager Asomua Asia Stanley said this marks 700 winners over the seven years of the promotion.
“We hope to run this promotion every year as a way to give back to our customers, and especially during these times of a slowing economy due to Covid-19, we want to do everything we can to help, and it’s wonderful to be working with Digicel and Farmer Joe”.
Digicel Samoa’s Chief Executive Officer Seiuli Deepak Khanna says they’re happy to have joined the SSAB Back to School promotion and look forward to continuing as a partner.
“They’ve been great partners for a couple of years now and we look forward to continue our partnership.. it’s great to see the happy smiling faces of customers as they receive their vouchers.”
The SSAB Back to School sale runs throughout January and February each year.
