One Hundred Digicel customers received shopping vouchers worth between $100 and $500 tala to spend during the Easter long weekend.

The winners were selected from the six week Easter campaign where customers were to top up $7 or more to go into the draw.

The total cost of the Easter promotion amounted to $30,000 tala and customers can spend at participating stores such as Farmer Joe, Frankie and SSAB.

Head of Consumer Sales, Mark Witthuhn said Easter is a time for families to refelect on love.

“Easter is a religious holiday and a time for families to reflect on love, compassion and kindness for one another,” he said.

“Generally, we want to be a part of your everyday lives, whichever way we can through our services, should it mean, taking care of your Easter Toana’i, we will do it so thank you for making it Digicel. ”

One of the winners Visesio Roma, of Pu’apu’a described the promotion as a relief.
“To be honest, it sure feels good to say to my family that I got Toana’i covered for us this year, and they shouldn’t worry about a thing,” said Roma.

Leativa Brown of Tiavi said she was undecided of whether she believes it when Digicel contacted her.
“I’m grateful that I held on to that call, my kids are going to enjoy Easter a bit more as the food is going to be yummier this year,” she said.

“Thank you to the hardworking team at Digicel, my kids and I appreciate this very much” added Ms. Brown.
