1Timothy 6:12
“FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE, TO WHICH YOU WERE ALSO CALLED.”
The Greek word for ‘eternal life’ is ‘zoe.’ Zoe is the absolute fullness of life; a life that is real and genuine; a life that is blessed. The Greek word translated ‘lay hold’ is ‘epilambanomai.’ This word means ‘to seize with both hands.’ It’s going to take faith to walk in the absolute fullness of life. The blessings of ZOE don’t just fall upon us haphazardly. We must fight the good fight of faith until we have the kind of faith that is ready to SEIZE AND LAY HOLD OF the real and genuine life that God wants each of us to have. You must be absolutely determined to accept nothing less than what God desires for your life. Make today phenomenal Saints. Seize the day and lay a hold of all that God has in store for you.
